A down-tempo collection of evocative, yet sparse arrangements that move along with a subtle melancholic tension. Writer and vocalist Garvin Tieseler  mirrors the energy of the music as the voice and music are woven together in a  tapestry of distress and regret. The songs range in themes from love lost, regret, & death, to rebirth of the soul/spirit. Garvin creates musical atmospheres using only electronic equipment. However he does not think of memory pool as a electronic sounding project.  Garvin's choice of instrumentation and arrangements creates a more organic natural sound of a real band playing. Memory pool is not a techno, industrial, dance, or top 40 sounding band. The songs are 100% electronic yet do not seem synthetically constructed.
